Christmas....couldn't have been better :) I LOVED it. My favorite gifts definitely had to be
• pearl earrings....they are beautiful
• pea-coat ahhhhhhhh its adorable!

• scripture markers.......I'm being serious I was so happy I got them!
I haven't really seen my roommates as much as I hoped for but being with the family has been incredible. I'm so EXCITED for this new semester.....it's definitely going to be harder but that just makes it better. the last one was amazing so I'm really looking forward to this new one. Love you all and I hope your Christmas was simply terrific :)

Home Alone....

Weird. It's a friday night. And the loser of the bunch (muah...Kylie) is home, while everyone is out doing who knows what. Haha well dac is home, but she's actually doing something productive. Sleeping. Something we could all use more of.

I love this time of year. (thanksgiving/christmas time) I always get reminded how blessed I am, to live where I do and have the friends and family I have. I don't think I say this enough, but I am so grateful for the roommates I have! I hope they all know that I LOVE and appreciate each one of them. Xoxo

Christmas

I COULDN'T love this time of year more. Snowflakes falling from the sky. wonderful Christmas music. Lights. Laughter. Love. Its going to be so good to take a break from school for almost an ENTIRE month.....that couldn't sound happier!
but.....
what am I going to do without my girls????
Good thing 4 of us all live 5 minutes within each other or I might go insane!
Chloe better just come live in Highland and Dacia......she doesn't know it yet but we're kidnapping her so we can see her over Christmas Break ;)

Luckily all of us have gotten so close I'm not worried that we won't play over Christmas Break.

We have sledding to do.

Temple Square to visit which by the way I expect the all of the groupies to be there....Alvaro, Kinsey, Sam, Bret, Taylor, Michael and of course 316 :)

We MUST have a little sleepover sometime :) and make a yummy breakfast or at least Kylie can make it and we can all try and help hahah

SoOoOo I pretty much couldn't love my roomies more:) We have become so close this past semester and I am so grateful for each and every one of them!

Yesterday at lunch Sarah and I ate with Taylor, Alvaro, Steve, and a new friend named Nick. We were sitting there chatting and somehow Taylor got on the subject of how people sometimes wonder if he is gay (He isn't. I PROMISE.) and of course Alvaro had to comment like only he would.

Taylor: ...I don't know why people think that! I'm like, "Come on, I like girls."

Alvaro: Dude, it's okay. And it's alright to be homo. Just as long as you don't act on it.

The rest of us: Laughing hysterically. Mostly because Alvaro has the most serious look on his face.

Alvaro: But really, it's true. The prophet has said...

Us: Stop Alvaro!! We all know! (continued hysteric laughing)

This is just like every day of our lives. It's fun to be us.

So I got to go home this weekend......by the way this is Sarah speaking......anyways I loved it. I loved seeing my family and eating real food. I loved not feeling stressed and being able to see some of my best friends. But as much as I loved it I missed being up here (in Logan) I missed talking to Mandy way late into the night. I missed walking back from math with Annie and laughing about absolutely nothing. I missed Kylie screaming because she forgot her shower shoes. I missed Chloe not wanting to go to class and asking me how I was doing. I missed Dacia laughing in the mornings when she reads her email. I love these girls. I've only been going to school now for 4 months and I feel like I have known them forever. They are some of the best girls I have ever met. They push me harder to be a better person, and I really don't know what I would do with out them. Thank you Chloe, Dacia, Annie, Kylie and espeically Mandy for always being there for me. Love you all!

First real snow of the season...

Gosh dang it. the sky finally decided that it was time to give us what we've been expecting--snow. Dang. And so yesterday, as Annie and Sarah and I were finishing a movie just as the snow began to fall we heard screaming outside. Like, serious screaming. And as we open the door and look out, who should we see? Yes, it was Keath the Alaskan screaming his guts out about the snow falling. What a nut. And then of course Steven had to join him--and make a snow angel with no shirt on. Gotta love the maniacs of Richards Hall.

so....we like to SPOON in the 316. yes, spoon. like on my bed, or on the couch or anywhere really. so, I thought we could maybe start a collection of all of the pictures we have of us spooning. this is just the beginning...

 This was a couple nights ago when I was going to bed and everyone wanted to sing me and Sarah good night songs. And Chloe decided that she wanted in on the bedtime bash as well. So here we are spooning. And listening to bedtime songs.

This was after we all came back from the game and were exhausted. Sarah and Annie were supposed to be pretending to sleep in this picture...at least Sarah got it down.

After the game. All that Kylie wanted was to be warm. And Chloe just likes spooning.

 I added this one to the collection just because...it's hilarious. She was so cold. This picture just shows what a total crazy our Kylie is. Total nutcase.

Just Life

So.....most of our families are now gone (Cho's is in the living room watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs :)) and I think that we had a pretty dang successful family day. Woot for us. Oh and also--3 of the 6 of us in this room are now true aggies. Unfortunately, I cannot say I am one. Someday. I hope. We'll see. And we are still working on finding someone to be Sarah's first kiss. We really need to get on that. I love us.

Chloe's New Goal

Chloe has decided on a goal for of us in the 316. She wants us all to make out, at some point, on the couch in our living room. She, of course, has already done it (possibly many times) and thinks that is a worthy thing for us all to shoot for. We'll see how that goes.

So, Kylie likes to make forts. None of us knew this until she was suddenly on the couch one night, in her "pajamas," under a sheet. She was in her fort. I'll be getting a picture up of this soon. Of Kylie. In her fort. Aka: under a sheet on the couch. With very few clothes on. It's just the way life goes here at the 316.

Sarah and the Fountain

So exactly a week ago today I went to a study session for my Political Science essay exam. As I was leaving about an hour late, I got a text from our good friend David Durrant. Sarah likes to refill her fountain that's on the fridge in the living room frequently from water bottles sitting around the room. There were no full water bottles sitting around I guess, so Sarah reached into the fridge, grabbed the first bottle she saw and poured some into the fountain. Apparently though, Kylie had been keeping all of her Propel in the fridge. And when the room started to smell very strongly of Propel, David realized exactly what Sarah had done. And Sarah figured it out about the same time, freaked out, and started pouring water into fountain to clean it up haha. The room lost the smell eventually, but unfortunately the fountain is still kind of sticky.

Steven's new discovery

So today, or right now, Sarah and I (Mandy) ate lunch with Alvaro and Steven in the Marketplace. As we all ate plenty of fatty and really unhealthy foods, Steven started to take spoonfuls of my Chicken Noodle Soup while I wasn't looking. He also started picking at my roll and dipping it into my soup. By now I had noticed that half of my food was disappearing. All of the sudden, as Sarah and Alvaro came to the discovery that they both think that brown eyes are dull and completely unprofound, Steven made an incredible discovery. "It's bread and soup!!" And there is was: a spoonful of soup, with a piece of bread perched on top. What a genius our Steven is. Of course...he is Asian.
